As a Registered Mental Health Counselor, I have developed certain areas of specialized interest. These include clients who have experienced sexual abuse and other forms of trauma, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, and Anxiety. I have additional training and experience in marriage counseling as well. While I do not work with childen or adolescents, I do work with parents addressing issues including adoption, infertility, and parenting concerns.

In 2004 I established a private practice serving individuals, couples, and groups in the South Puget Sound region.
I also pursue continuing education through various conferences and training seminars in an effort to maintain the highest standards of professional and educational integrity. I am a member of the NW Alliance for Psychoanalytic Study, Seattle Counselors Assocation, and the American Association of Christian Counselors.
I am in the process of working toward the next level of professional certification, called Licensure. I have accrued a majority of the client and supersvion hours required as prerequisites to sitting for board examination. I work in a supervisory relationship with a Washington Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has over 15 years of counseling experience.
